Today I arrived in New Orleans Just as the senator elect died from covid and the city tightened it's lockdown grip.
The French quarter still seems lively and the haunted tours are operating.
Meanwhile, I'm hoping for a Trump victory on January 6th because I am not ready to give up my rights under the US Constitution.

Today I took a tour of Houston. I have always liked it in theory (except the airport) but now I know I could probably like it here.
Also there is more disturbing covid news from San Diego. Funny, I keep hearing bad news about San Diego on the news and good news about Orlando on the news.

Well I'm getting closer to Orlando but Houston seems nice too.
I'm like many Californians fed up with Gavin Newsom.
The South keeps calling me so I'm listening.

Well today I went from El Paso to Abileine. It was quite the journey. Lots of changes in scenery and stuff I never saw before or knew about.
Overall I'm on two journeys. One to cross the country to Orlando to get away from the California fascism and second to figure out how to re-interpret my relationships in a way that works for me.
Both journeys seem long at the moment.
We'll see what happens.
